Winter
Winter is the best season.
It is a great experience.
Nothing will change my way of thinking.
Think about the nice white snowflakes.
Everything is sparkling.
Really cool season.

The New Friend
Once upon a time there was a brother and a sister. Lisa was ten and Sam was eleven. They each had a horse that could talk, but the grown-ups didn’t know about that. Lisa’s horse, Chocolate, was a brown girl horse. Sam’s horse was Thunder, a gray boy horse. They lived out in the country near the woods. There were no other houses around. The closest house was through the forest and their friend Tom lived there.
One day they wanted to go to the movie theater to see “Alexandra and the Four Bracelets.” Lisa looked the wrong way and Chocolate got lost. She started to go to a different movie theater. When she saw that she was alone, she got really, really scared that something bad was going to happen. Then they got stuck in some branches and Lisa and Chocolate both called, “HELP!”
A young man named Corter was walking with his little gold Pomeranian named Peter. Corter heard them and Peter sniffed them out. Corter helped them get free and Lisa said, “Peter is a good sniffer!” They talked for a bit and Corter said, “I am going to that movie, too! If we both ride Chocolate, we will not be late.” They got to the theater on time! Sam & Tom were so happy to see Lisa because they had been scared.
They got to watch “Alexandra and the Four Bracelets,” eat popcorn and Swedish Fish, and drink purple Fanta. They all liked the movie. At the end there was a giveaway and they each got four bracelets to make! And the horses got new saddles and the dog got a new toy. They were all happy they made new friends!
